Metagenomics services
Our metagenomics services include amplicon-based next generation sequencing (NGS) of 16S rRNA and ITS2 microbial regions and bacterial whole genome sequencing.
We provide comprehensive customer NGS services, consultation and research to develop optimised project protocols for any microbial community of interest using Illumina iSeq 100 System.
Our bioinformatic services consist of reference-assisted clustering, taxonomic classification, and diversity analysis with extensive data visualization.
Upon request, we are able to determine alive communities’ composition with their absolute quantification. Single to hundreds of samples can be sequenced and analyzed in rapid turnaround times.
We provide metagenomic sequencing service of bacterial consortia by 16S rRNA and fungal composition by ITS2 protocols from wide spectra of sources, including, but not limited to environmental, soil, plant, and food samples. For bacteria samples, we also offer whole genome sequencing (WGS).
Depending on the task, different technological chains could be checked for quality or manufacturing conditions, in order to evaluate the presence of bacteria or fungi, test microbiological parameters, or evaluate fluctuations in the processes.
In our facility, we possess state-of-the-art iSeq 100 System (Illumina) based on complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology. This latest optimized one-channel sequencing by synthesis (SBS) technology significantly reduces sequencing costs, while maintaining high data quality and allowing us to provide fast and valuable sequencing service.
Our workflow starts with gDNA extraction and ends with generating a full report which includes bioinformatic data analysis using Bion, QIIME, DADA2 pipelines for amplicon sequencing and MetaPhlAn2, HUMAnN2 for WGS interpretation.
Our metagenomics services team is flexible in regarding to clients’ wishes and preferences and considers every order individually. We are highly experienced in NGS-grade gDNA extraction from different starting material and ready to work on complicated and nontrivial tasks. With our strong scientific base, we are ready to participate in research projects and technology development.
